If you would like to enjoy an evening of live music, then some of the world’s best orchestras offer unforgettable online performances. Here are three you can enjoy from the comfort of your home at Tiburon Apartments.

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1919, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra has a long legacy of excellence. It performs 150 concerts annually and welcomes 250,000 patrons. Musical Director Otto Tausk is renowned in his native Holland. Now in his second season with the orchestra, he works with the best composers to bring high-quality performances to the Orpheum. Enjoy the musicians’ latest show, Beethoven’s Sixth Symphony, recorded on March 15th.

Berliner Philharmoniker

Consistently ranked as one of the world’s best orchestras, the Berliner Philharmoniker is distinguished for its virtuosity and compelling sound. Since originating in 1892, the orchestra has performed thousands of magnificent concerts. The musicians began playing at the renowned Philharmonie Berlin in 1963. Famous for its architecture, the building is easily recognizable for its tent-like shape and bright yellow color.

The digital concert hall features over 600 concerts. Viewers can also enjoy watching behind-the-scenes footage and documentaries about the orchestra’s storied history.

Scottish Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 1935, the Scottish Symphony Orchestra calls Glasgow home. As Scotland’s leading champion of new music, it features some of UK’s finest musicians. Performing both at home and around the world, the orchestra draws thousands of patrons every year.

The Scottish Symphony Orchestra also offers several of its concerts on YouTube. Highlights include Gershwin and Bernstein Live, Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue, and Mozart Horn Concerto No. 4.
